Lab / PG / Thesis - OSF Workflow Improments

The goal of this project is to improve the current workflow of using the Open Science Framework (OSF, https://osf.io), an open-source platform that supports researchers in managing, preregistering, and sharing their projects and data, for preregistrations and data and artifact publishing. Specifically, we aim to conduct a structured requirement analysis with researchers who have experience using OSF and similar platforms (such as Zenodo) in order to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and unmet needs in their current workflows. Based on these insights, we will design and develop a tool that directly addresses these challenges and streamlines the process of preregistration, data sharing, and artifact publication.
