Seminar - Unbased Truths in SOUPS papers

This seminar project systematically reviews recent Symposium on Usable Privacy and Security (SOUPS) papers to identify claims presented as “common sense” but lacking explicit empirical evidence. The goal is to categorize such statements, measure their prevalence, and critically assess their validity.
Example: “Users rarely read privacy policies” — a claim often repeated without direct empirical support.
