PG/Lab - One Does Not Simply Write a Thesis with ChatGPT

Using popular LLM's like ChatGPT in universities is becoming quite common, however, the extent of its use vary by task and individual student. In a user study, you will be tasked with examining your peers' behavior when using ChatGPT or similar LLM's for university work such as theses or exercise submissions, identifying the challenges they face, and exploring the benefits it provides. Based on your findings, you will create a guide on how to use AI for academic work in a fair and beneficial manner.
